The Urban Tour

Running April, June and August – the tours are based on flights arriving on the second Thursday of each month.

Day One – Airport Transfers from Dublin Airport.

Tour of the city – Dublin is a city with a wonderful atmosphere and culture. Surrounded by beautiful architecture, interspersed with modern lifestyle, there is something for everyone. A city that originated as a small Viking settlement and has grown into one of the most popular capitals in Europe, there is plenty to take in on a tour of the city.

Day three – Transfer to Cork

Via Cashel – the most visited heritage site in Ireland, primarily for the legendary Rock of Cashel, no tour of Ireland would be complete without a stop in this Tipperary town.

Walking tour of the Cork city – This takes in some of the most significant aspects of Cork from the Shandon Bells and St. Finbarr’s Cathedral to the famous English Market that has a wealth of artisan stalls and local produce that is too good to miss.

Day four Blarney Castel and Woollen Mills – a picturesque village, famous for its castle and woollen mills, this is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the history of Ireland and to get the chance to kiss the famous Blarney Stone!

Kinsale – the harbour town is full of life, bursting with boutique shops, cafes and markets. With walks out to the two forts that protect the town and views across the harbour that are iconic for Ireland this town is the perfect stopping place for a gentle walk and a tasty lunch.

Day Five Killarney – a delightful spot that is buzzing with entertainment and tradition.

Day Six Galway – a vibrant city on the west coast of Ireland that has plenty to see and do from shopping, to historical tours, dining out, concerts and gigs, arts and literary experiences. It is a city with such life and energy you cannot fail to enjoy your time here.

Via Bunratty – a self contained village focused around Bunratty Castle, here is a chance to see how Irish life has changed from medieval times to present day, with a full size medieval village exhibition.
